The Purpose for Christs’ coming is to transform us…

The Proclamation of the Gospel of Christ goes forth…
Mt 28:18-20… Go, Make Disciples… Then Baptize and Teach them!
Romans 10:17 17 So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.
John 17:17 17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.
Peter preaches Acts 2:14-40… Acts 2:36-37 36 “Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” 37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”
The Point in time, where Jesus Transforms us…
Acts 2:41 41 Those who accepted [believed] his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. [The church was birthed!]
Romans 10:9-10 9 That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Romans 5:1-2 1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand…
2 Corinthians 5:17 17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! nlt

Sins forgiven, declared righteous, names written, adopted into God’s family, sealed with the Holy Spirit, citizenship in heaven, new nature, new identity, new peace, new eternal destination, justified, sanctified, etc… Some believe there are over 90 NEW things that occurs!

The Process of Transformation…
Romans 12:1-2 1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God–this is your spiritual act of worship. 2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will.
- Offer your Bodies as living sacrifices… Rom 6:13, 1Co 6:19
- Do not conform to the world… 1Jn 2:15-17, 1Jn 5:19
- Renew your Mind… Col 3:10, 2Co 4:16
Ephesians 2:10 10 For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
