Pre-K

Pre-Kindergarten at Cross Creek
Our mission is to provide a Christ-centered classroom environment, where each child feels
safe, loved and valued.

Pre-K is a community outreach ministry of Cross Creek Community Church, begun in 2016.  Our academic Pre-K curriculum for 3 to 5 year old children is based on science, social studies and Bible themes with an emphasis on kindergarten readiness.

Every day, we learn from the Bible about God and His loving plan of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ.  Our Pre-K Bible curriculum presents God’s story in lively lessons from Genesis to the Great Commission.  Each lesson reinforces God’s eternal love for us and powerfully presents the gospel message throughout the year.

In Pre-K, children are taught developmentally-appropriate skills and concepts which will better prepare them for kindergarten.  Each day children have plenty of opportunities to practice these language and math concepts, as well as fine-motor and gross-motor skills within exciting weekly themes.

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.   –Proverbs 22:6

Children are also encouraged to practice self-help skills and self-control as they learn to be independent thinkers and problem solvers.  Positive social interactions based on biblical principles are modeled and encouraged in every activity in the classroom.

The Pre-K program runs Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9am to 2pm, from September 1st until May 31st.  Parents can choose a consistent schedule to fit your needs, a minimum of 2 days per week.
