Numbers 33:2 At the LORD’s command Moses recorded the stages in their journey. This is their journey by stages…
“LIFE IS A JOURNEY”
Joshua 24:15 But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”
- Keep the priority of your marriage.
“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? 6 So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.” ~ JESUS, Mt 19:4-6
Colossians 3:18-20 18 Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. 19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them. 20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.
- Mutual Love & Respect in Christ, Eph 5:21, Phil 2:2, Gal 3:28
- God – Marriage – Children – Church – Everything else…
- Do Family life together.
Deuteronomy 6:4-8 4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. 5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.
- Build loving relationships, traditions & memories.
- Consistently teach and model Christ.
- Make a difference on your journey…
Joshua 22:5 But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the LORD gave you: to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to obey his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and all your soul.”
- To love the Lord your God!
- To walk in all His ways!
- To obey His commands!
- To hold fast to Him!
- To serve Him passionately!
Philippians 2:2 Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.
