“Jesus”

Romans 15:4  For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

  • Jesus became flesh!

John 1:1-3 1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2  He was with God in the beginning. 3  Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. John 1:14 14  The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

  • Jesus fulfills prophecy!

Matthew 1:23 23  “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”–which means, “God with us.”

Galatians 4:4-5 4  But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, 5  to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons.

  • Jesus died for YOU!

1 Peter 3:18 18  For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit,

Luke 22:14-20 14  When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles reclined at the table. 15  And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. 16  For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God.” 17  After taking the cup, he gave thanks and said, “Take this and divide it among you. 18  For I tell you I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.” 19  And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 20  In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you. [Do this in remembrance of me]

John 13:34-35 34  “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35  By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

NEW YOU… GO, LIVE & LOVE LIKE JESUS!
