“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.  Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18

Cross Creek is all about reaching people for Jesus.

Whether its ministering to those people living right next to us, Wyoming Valley Rescue Mission, First Hospital, Las Vegas or Guatemala.

Our world is overwhelmed with people living with sorrow and sickness. Our Savior’s expectation for His people is to share the good news with those that we come in contact with. Jesus is alive and salvation for sinners is possible only through Him.

In Jesus we see a constant example of Him making time for those that have needs. He provided for them physically, while ministering to their spirit. If we say we love Jesus, we should  obey His command to love one another. Love is an action and a decision to constantly put others’ needs above our wants and desires. We want to serve Christ by serving each other, by being the hands and feet of Jesus.
