2. To Equip the saints for the work of the ministry. This will be carried out by the teaching, preaching of the Word of God and the indwelling Holy Spirit in each believers life in producing "fruit" and "gift(s)" to build up the body for ministry.

Education purposes for which this church may engage are as follows: to engage in, foster, propagate, encourage and promote Christian and charitable interests in or without the State of Pennsylvania or the United States, including the establishment, maintenance and operation of Christian schools, colleges, orphanages, day-care centers, homes for juveniles, youth centers, family recreational centers, hospitals, retirement communities, and any other Christian service operation in this state and throughout the world.

To have all the powers of all non-profit religious corporations, colleges and schools. To have the power and authority to confer degrees and give scholastic recognition usually conferred by any institution in the field of religion, liberal arts or humanities in the State of Pennsylvania.

3. To Evangelize those who do not know Christ

4. To Elevate the moral and spiritual character of our society.

These four purposes can be fulfilled by: Obedience to the "Great Commandment" Matthew 22:36-40, which says, "… Love the Lord your God with all your heart (WORSHIP).…. Love your neighbor as yourself (MINISTRY)." And the "Great Commission" Matthew 28:19-20 which says, "….. go and make disciples (EVANGELISM)…., baptizing them (FELLOWSHIP) ….. "teaching them to obey everything (DISCIPLESHIP)….".

With the proper balance of WORSHIP, MINISTRY, EVANGELISM, FELLOWSHIP, and DISCIPLESHIP the purposes of Cross Creek Community Church will be fulfilled.
